Analytical and Manufacturing Methods for Whole Food Nutrients

Dr. Russell Rines will explain the process of crafting 100% whole food supplements. The lecture will include all phases of production, with an emphasis on the effects of drying techniques on nutrient integrity. He will also cover analytical methods and quality control techniques, with a focus on determining and ensuring the potency of minerals and vitamins in whole food nutrients.

Preventative for Metabolic Disease
with Mary Bove, ND
Dr. Mary Bove will explore the correlation between diets rich in fruits and vegetables and a lower incidence of metabolic syndrome. Focusing on all aspects of metabolic syndrome including cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance and body composition, she will review specific foods and correlating phytochemicals impacting each aspect. She will discuss nutritional protocols suited for disease prevention, mitigation and treatment of metabolic syndrome, the value of nutrients with intrinsic phytochemicals as key factors in prevention, gene expression, oxidative stress as anti-inflammatory agents, and for optimal human health.
